Spring agenda.

This spring agenda. is offering athletes the opportunities to participate in the following training camps.

agenda. Spring Sessions @ Vertical Zone

Join agenda. for spring trampoline sessions at Vertical Zone, Barrie!

This spring we will be offering 2 sessions each week from May 11th until June 16th;

Saturdays - Intermediate - athletes working on single on and off axis skills eg. corks, mistys, rodeos, backflips, etc.

Sundays - Advanced/Expert - athletes working on double off axis skills eg. double corks, double mistys, double rodeos, etc.

  • Priority for the Advanced/Expert sessions will go the High Performance Team athletes.

  • There will be a maximum of 15 athletes per sessions and spots will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

During each 2 hour session, athletes will have the opportunity to use the facilities Olympic sized trampolines and airbag to work on developing their balance, agility, coordination, spatial orientation and body awareness, in order to improve their acrobatic literacy, as well as helping to develop their physical strength.

Training acrobatic skills is a very important aspect of freestyle skiing, as good acrobatic mechanics allow a freestyle skier to develop complex moves at a faster pace, pilot themselves out of danger after a poor take-off or in changing conditions and give them the freedom to concentrate on form and creativity.

agenda. strongly recommends that all athletes consider taking part in trampoline training, as it is a valuable cross-training tool in our sport.
