Agenda is seeking a dedicated and energetic freestyle coach to join our team!

We are a competitive freestyle ski team, developing athletes aged 8 to 21, who participate in a range of competitive events, including Timber Tours, Junior Nationals, Canada Cups and Nor Ams. We provide our athletes with year-round training, focused on learning and developing new skills, through trampoline, dryland, airbag, water ramp and on-snow training. 

 We are looking for a coach who is passionate about freestyle skiing, about supporting and developing athletes, and who will be committed to helping each athlete achieve their goals. We expect our coaches to demonstrate excellent leadership and group management skills, to build relationships with athletes, their parents and fellow coaches and who understand the importance of athlete safety. We value honesty, integrity and loyalty, and expect all our coaches to act as role models for our athletes.  

The position will commence on December 14th 2019, and ends March 22nd 2020, with the possibility of a renewed contract through Spring/Summer 2019.

  • Evaluate each athlete within your group and provide them with a training plan that is appropriate to their stage of development.

  • Assist athletes with the technical and tactical aspects of developing a competition run.

  • Act as a mentor/role model to all athletes.

  • Communicate professionally with athlete’s parents and provide appropriate feedback to them regarding their athlete’s skill development.

  • Enforce the team rules and expectations.

  • Attend and support athletes at various competitions throughout the season.Provide duty of care to the standard outlined by Agenda Freeski.


  • In training or trained in FUNdamentalz coaching course.*

  • Experience coaching or teaching within the ski industry.

  • Knowledge of the tricks and techniques involved in freestyle skiing.

  • Reliable, punctual, self-motivated and hard working, with the ability to work independently. 

  • Experience participating in or coaching a sport competitively is an asset.

*If candidate has not already completed the FUNdamentalz coaching course, they must be willing to do so prior to the commencement of on-snow training.
